Intelligent business consultancy presents the financial literacy for children as a way to improve and provide knowledge to the younger generation at a younger age, teach them about money issues and how to handle finances. This is a very crucial in the upbringing of every child as financial freedom is needed to any stage of their lives and also thus preparing them for their future..

Financial literacy for children is a program targeting children from as early as 4 to 19 years of age. The program covers a lot of financial concepts like budgeting, savings & investments, goal setting, digital security etc. financial literacy for children builds the basic foundation for every child’s future financial freedom.

Gladys Mutsopotsi Shumbambiri is the CEO of Intelligent Business Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd, (IBC), a business consultancy, coaching and financial advisory company which focuses on financial education, entrepreneurship development, microfinance management, personal and corporate development training. Gladys was a senior Economist at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, where she came up with a Monetary Policy Implementation matrix for tracking policy implementation. She is a co-author of Economic Management in a Hyperinflationary Environment and her chapter on Monetary Policy Implementation will assist nations facing a similar crisis.

She has done Financial Literacy projects with UN Agencies , International Labour Organisation and mentorship programmes with International Women’s organizations. She is running Financial Literacy and Personal Development programmes for children. She is a current Radio Guest presenter with Capitalk Radio, on the Hustle hard Segment, a show for Women In Business.She has been a radio co-host on Financial Education and Women Empowerment discussions. She is a certified Professional Coach with International Coaching and Mentoring Foundation and a certified Microfinance Management Trainer with International Labour Organisation. She is a mentor with Coaches of Influence an International organisation.
