AGRICOLLEGES CERTIFICATE SUMMARY

This program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of various types of agriculture, equipping them with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Successfully completing the course will prepare students for entry-level positions in the agriculture sector or further studies in an agriculture-related field, offering a solid foundation for future career development. The National Certificate in General Agriculture, Plant, and Animal Production is particularly suited for school leavers eager to pursue further education in agriculture.

CURRICULUM

Fundamentals of Animal Production covers animal classification, nutrition, anatomy, and physiology and includes food safety, quality management, and equipment maintenance. Principles of Animal Production involve agribusiness planning, adjusting agricultural factors, managing damage control, ensuring product quality, and implementing health programs. Mathematics deals with statistics, probability, measurement, and geometry. Communication Skills focus on effective oral and written communication, text interpretation, and data collection. Marketing Management entails developing and managing agricultural marketing strategies. Agricultural Operations include managing feedlot production, adjusting agricultural factors, and damage control.
