Congratulations to Mutsawashe Maredza (form 2) on being one of 3 candidates that was selected to represent Zimbabwe in South Korea.

In order to promote and establish a foundation for the 25th World Scout Jamboree, the Korea Africa Foundation and Jeollaabuk Center for International Affairs will be holding the first ever Korea Africa Youth Camp in August 2019.

The camp seeks to build a concrete and future oriented network between Korean and African youths to promote mutual understanding and raise awareness of both Korean and African culture whilst challenging and altering preconceptions about cultures positively. This is an essential social and cultural program that will enable the youth to engage, learn and appreciate their differences in building a sense of community.

Youths from 13 African countries will be participating in the event, the candidates for this camp were selected on the basis of being well read, confident, articulate, well presented, team builders and have an interest in Korea (future Ambassador/Politician/leader).
